Group Picture Tip
A great way to capture the reception with all of your guests in one shot is by having your DJ announce for everyone to get on the dance floor for a group picture. This is another way to get everyone dancing after the photographer takes some great pictures. DJ Daniel from Special Event Entertainment (www.see-dj.com) had everyone rocking on the dance floor at Kiki and Tyler's reception after the group picture. The fabulous pictures were taken by Chloe at (www.photosbychloe.com). Chloe did a great job capturing the moments and the beautiful LED lights that we offer with our packages. It really gives the room a personalized touch and truly makes the colors of a wedding come out.

Black White and Yellow
Putting together a family member's event can be loads of fun when everyone gets involved. This was the case when we were planning Fatema and Zack's wedding! Immediate family, in-laws and friends all pitched in their ideas, time and energy when it came to putting this beautiful event together. This couple knew exactly what they wanted for their big day and as a result, they transformed Pacific Hills Banquet Hall into an completely modern and ultra posh venue.
No details were left untouched. From crystal napkin treatments, to centerpieces in an array of sizes and arrangements. They ranged from breathtaking candelabras wrapped in yellow and white roses which were accented with candles, to beautiful urns which gave a more traditional feel. Presentation was everything at this event and you will see what we mean when you take a glimpse at the photos below!
The amazing dinner menu consisted of eclectic tastes whipped up by our very own chef. Guests enjoyed everything from appetizers to a wedding cake provided by Cinderella Cakes.
Lets not forget to mention the amazing dessert station! Sweet treats included personalized candy stations with monochromatic candy colors, an assortment of delectable pastries and a fruit table that left guests in awe!
As if all this was not enough, the couple added an extra WOW factor to their wedding - a photo booth, as a "thank you" to all their guests! This was a big hit and loads of fun as guests could each get their picture as a favor!
Fatema's beautiful dress was a Monique Lhullier, and we won't go into how much the dress cost but lets just say it would be a nice down payment on a condo! The flowers were arranged by none other than Square Root Designs (www.squarerootdesigns.com) and the pictures were provided by Michelle Photography where she also has a blog of the event: http://www.momentsbymichelle.com/blog/?p=1606
One final and special thanks goes to Robles Video (www.roblesvideo.com) for going above and beyond in order to capture Fatema and Zack's special day! We have worked with many videographers in the past however no one captures the event quiet like Robles Video. Check out this great same day edit they created, password is: David. http://www.vimeo.com/16416734

Some Tequila and Lots of Dancing
"A picture is worth a thousand words" This saying is especially true when looking at pictures from Anel and Raul's wedding reception. Check them out at www.cakeandpictures.com! As you will see in one of the photographs, a relative is pouring Tequila into Raul's shoe! Needless to say, this was not a boring wedding reception by any means! You KNOW the bride is ready to dance when she changes into her Converse shoes!
Julie Irene (www.julieirene.com) really captured the mood of the reception and also did an amazing job with the ceremony pictures at San Juan Capistrano Mission Bascilica. "This church was absolutely amazing!" exclaimed Julie. "I am so happy to have had the opportunity to shoot a wedding here!"
The mission was built in 1886 and was designed after the Great Stone Church. Dr. Norman Neuerberg designed and painted the motif's in the interior.

Festive Indian Wedding
Indy and Vanda's wedding was an assortment of great ideas and was a fusion of traditional as well as modern concepts. The ceremony and reception were held on two different days and the couple wanted to make sure that both events were very different! Yogi (www.sheerromance.com) stepped in to assure that both events had their own vibe and feel and did an amazing job.
Having the groom's grand entrance on a horse is typical of traditional Indian weddings, however Indy wanted to change things a bit. He was brought out in a yellow Lamborghini Diablo! the groom and family were then escorted by the bride's family to our Grand Ballroom for the ceremony which we set up for 550 guests.
South Indian cuisine was served at the ceremony and provided by Jay Bhrat.
Family and friends returned to our venue the following day for the reception. Indy made sure that the bar was fully stacked with Johnny Walker Black Label and Patron Tequila to ensure that his guests had a great time. Lets just say that by the end of the night, people did not want to leave the dance floor, yet alone the place!
Food was provided by Manohar's Delhi Palace, which happens to be our favorite Indian caterer. Amazing pictures were photographed by Robin (www.zoartphoto.com). She did an incredible job at capturing the day to it's fullest! It was a pleasure working with you Robin and thank you for all the wonderful photos!

Outdoor Ceremony
Bernie and Nirali have been together for seven years and their love showed every time we met with them! They always wanted an outdoor ceremony and we had the perfect location for them! One venue which we coordinate our special events through is Soka University in Aliso Viejo. This venue is beautiful and has the best outdoor areas for wedding ceremonies. Our favorite location at the university is in front of Peace Lake. Here, there is a gorgeous fountain where couples can "tie the knot" and also a mini lake with runways that go through it, which is a favorite area for photographers!
Bernie and Nirali had a very simple yet beautiful wedding ceremony and they looked great. After the ceremony at Soka University, guests arrived at Pacific Hills for the reception. Bernie and Nirali had mentioned that they had a "partying" crowd and that was definitely the case. After all the formalities the party got started and their was barely any room left on the dance floor. The highlight of the event was definitely the grand entrance, we have never seen guests welcome a bride and groom with so much enthusiasm!

Richard Blade in the House
The most important thing to Marc and Sandra was to make sure that their guests had an amazing time at their wedding and we made sure that they got what they wanted!
Their special day began with a beautiful ceremony in our Laguna Ballroom. The room was draped in white and our LED lights were color coordinated with their wedding colors. The ceremony was performed by the very characteristic and funny Rev. Todd G. Rodarmel (www.theocweddingguy.com). He entertained the guests with his humor yet also made sure that the ceremony was performed without a hitch.
Friends and family were then treated to a phenomenal eight piece Mariachi Band and fully hosted bar...you can never go wrong with a hosted bar!
The ceremony was followed by the reception which was pumped up by none other than Richard Blade from KROQ on the turn tables (www.richardblade.com). We have been fortunate enough to have had Richard DJ at our venue a few times and he never fails to ROCK the party! As a result, Marc and Sandra spent most of their evening on the dance floor partying with their guests.
Check out their fun filled wedding slide show at http://www.youtube.com/user/squareeyephoto#p/u/o/EQBR6Epe604.com. Slide show and photography was provided by Edna from www.squareeyephoto.com.
