Anna and Foad's Beautiful Wedding

Anna and Foad decided to have a tradtional Persian ceremony in our Newport ballroom which is called the Sofreh Aghd.  The platform or stage in which the bride and groom tied the knot on was aligned with beautiful decorative items and sweets. Anna and Foad had a long distance relationship so it made it quite difficult for them to plan everything at the same time yet in the end everything came together and it was perfect!!  The highlight of the event was a lavish fruit and sweets station that we set up for guests to enjoy.

White and Orange

Michelle and Trent decided to have their ceremony and reception at our venue.  This is convenient for guests as well as the bridal party and avoids traveling to multiple sites.  It also gives the bride and groom more time to be with their guests and not rush from one location to the other.  We highly suggest to hold both the ceremony and reception with us and it is always an easy transition from ceremony to reception. As guests enjoy the cocktail hour the ballroom will be tranformed, flowers from the ceremony can be used for the reception as well and once those doors open they will be in for a great surprise. This was a very special wedding for Michelle because her very charismatic and funny grand father tied the knot for them.  Their colors were orange and white with accents of gold. Congratulations Michelle and Trent!

Fourth of July weekend Extravaganza!!!

Wow, what a great Fourth of July weekend we had. Three beautiful weddings in three days and all of them had their own unique style and look. Friday we hosted Payal's and Nimrit's wedding with a traditional Indian ceremony followed by the reception. Teal and gold were the main colors that they chose with a very elegant back drop for the head table. Food was catered by Delhi Palace and no one cooks chicken tikka masala and garlic bread like they do...yummy!!!

Fourth of July Continued...

Saturday was Oanh's and Kenneth's wedding, they have been together for over 14 years and we were thrilled that they chose our venue to hold their very special wedding. They had a traditional Chinese wedding with a lavish dinner set up of 8 courses for their guests. Crab meat soup, honey walnut shrimp and lobster were some of the delectable items that were on the menu. We are one of the very few venues in Orange County that is able to provide their guests with Asian family style dining.  Their friends actually coordinated their wedding and did an AWESOME job.  The candy station was also set up by them as well, you can find them at http://www.aclassiccelebration.com/

Fourth of July Continued...

Sunday was Payal's wedding.  We started the day with a traditional Indian ceremony followed by a lunch.  To mix things up we served Mexican food and for dessert tasty pistachio Indian ice cream treats.  Guests had a three hour break between the ceremony and the reception to change and relax and we had a chance to convert the grand ballroom into a whole different look.  We also encourage our bride and groom to make sure that the ceremony and reception have two completely different looks which will leave guests in awe.
