Ethiopian Wedding

Hillina and Ernest wanted a very grand wedding and they definitely needed to plan for one since they were expecting over 500 guests!  They wanted to make sure that the ballroom looked elegant without it being overcrowded.  Many of the details were put together by them and by their very talented coordinator Clara Ross from (www.clarasperfectoccasions.com). This was the first Ethiopian wedding we experienced at our venue and we must say it was definitely one that will have a lasting memory for us.  We had never seen guests have so much fun at a wedding and dance so much.  They hired a great band and a DJ which played both American and Ethiopian songs throughout the night.  We particularly liked all the great Ethiopian songs that they played and all the great customs that were performed during the reception.

Black, White and Red

We are getting more and more couples requesting black and white as their wedding colors and Steve and Vy were no exception.  We made sure that all their colors matched and exceeded their expectations.  We also offer a new upgrade which is draping the entire ballroom in white and this brings the true look of our LED lights into effect.  Vy was one of our most organized and creative brides.  She actually put together all of her centerpieces!  The pictures below are proof that this was a beautiful and fabulous event!

Amazing Indian Wedding

After meeting Deepa and Pradi as guests at our venue for other Indian weddings, we were so excited to host their big day!  It was an all day event at Pacific Hills! We started with an intimate morning ceremony followed by lunch provided by Jay Bharat. Four hours later the couple arrived to a revamped room full of guests excited to toast to their new venture!  Dinner was provided by Manohar’s Delhi Palace (they have the best garlic naan and butter chicken).  We provided all the flowers and décor for this wedding and were thrilled to provide two completely different looks for the ceremony and the reception.

Pink, Pink and MORE Pink!

That was the theme of Melissa and Jeff’s wedding.  It is always refreshing when the bride puts her personal touch into the wedding.  This is especially true when it involves putting together some of the décor.   Melissa had customized everything from the napkin rings to the votive candles and we assisted her in making her pink wedding vision come to life!  The beautiful flower arrangements were by Dawn Hansen from Lavender Hill (www.lavenderhilloc.com).

Mazel Tov Laura and Karl

When Laura and Karl started talking to us regarding their wedding colors, Laura wanted something unique and bold.  After looking at some of the satin table linens we carry, they decided that orange would be different.  The ballroom looked unique, refreshing and definitely bold.

Laura and Karl had both their wedding and reception at Pacific Hills.  Keeping in part with a traditional Jewish wedding, the rabbi conducted the ceremony under a simple but beautiful chupah.  The chupah was covered with white chiffon and a beautiful floral arrangement at each corner of the front.  The floral arrangements were done by Flowers by Jenny.  Before dinner the blessing of challa was blessed by Laura’s family elders.

For entertainment they decided to have a band and not a DJ.  I think the guests really enjoyed dancing to Go Big Daddy Band songs. They did a great job singing during the Hora (traditional festive Jewish dance where the bride and groom are lifted with their chair above the crowd).

To sum it all up, this wedding was bold, beautiful, and a festive night!

Ethnic Wedding

Riffat went out of her way to make her son and new daughter in-law's special day perfect.  When the couple arrived they were amazed to see that Riffat had put a special touch on every detail of this wedding.   The set up and decor of the venue looked absolutely exquisite!  Gold and pink was the color scheme for this wedding and everything from the lighting to the drapery flowed with this theme.  Samson Photography captured the day as Riffat welcomed her new daughter into the family!!
