It seems like a popular color combo for this season's wedding is black and red! Two weekends in a row, we catered two weddings, with the same color scheme of black and red. Although the two weddings had a huge element of their weddings in common, they both had their own distinctive style.
This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting Carissa and Robert's wedding who's ceremony was held in our Newport Ballroom. The alter was beautiful with an arch of gorgeous red roses, greenery and branches. Rose petals covered the runway as Carissa made her grand entrance, accompanied by her grandfather.
A couple key elements which are worth noting during this wedding were definitely the cake and chandelier!
The wedding cake was not only delicious, but it was also beautiful. This white, 5 tier cake was covered with red roses and rose petals. In the center of the ballroom, Carissa brought a gorgeous black chandelier which we hung from the ceiling. It added a touch of elegance to the overall feel of the room!
